    Description

Presented is a fantastic quality pair of English sterling silver serving spoons. These spoons date to 1837 and were made by William Eaton. The spoons are done in a classic fiddle design. The spoons are well made from thick silver, and have a nice weight in the hand.
Each piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter B for 1837, the duty mark of King William IV's head, and the maker's mark for William Eaton.
The spoons are in great condition. There is some only the most minor, insignificant surface wear. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is about 9 inches long.
The weight for the pair of spoons is 166 grams or 5.8 regular ounces.
