    Description

An Eighteenth Century Sterling Silver Open Master Salt. This is quite unusual as it has a motif of Fruit and Leaves instead of the more usual Floral motifs. Crimped edges. Sits on three Hoofed Feet. Marked on the base with the Leopard Head for London, Lion Rampant, Date Letter n for the Year 1748-49. I cannot decipher the maker’s mark.
In very good condition for its age with the exception of two small holes, pictured inside and out on the two last pictures, and priced accordingly.
Measures approximately, 3” x 3” x 2” tall. Nice and sturdy weighing approximately, 108.51 grams.
    English, circa 1748.
