Up for sale is a VERY original 1966 Honda CA160 Dream in rare, original paint BLACK. This bike runs and rides literally like a Dream..  I loved test riding this vintage Honda!  It is all original down to the paint (may have a few touch-ups over the years but I can't see them).  This vintage Honda Dream has that perfect patina.  It should be left as is and preserved, not restored. Runs and rides great.  Very smooth. Shifts nice, great clutch, great brakes.  All lights and gauge working per spec.  Starts right up and runs nice. Wide whitewall tires are a cool vintage accent.  They have some age cracking, but still round and usable for around town usage.
Overall, very very nice for a 1966 motorcycle.  Shows pride of ownership history and well cared for.  Some minor pitting on some of the chrome, but nothing that detracts from it originality.  Original paint is getting thinner, but still very shiny and presentable.  Please see photos for aging on the fuel tank and front forks.  Seat has been restored sometime in the past and is very nice.  Pictures don't show it, but does have a rear view mirror.  Original keys (multiples).
Motorcycle went through a complete service and repaired/preserved as necessary a couple of years ago.  New battery at that time.
Again, helping my friend of 30+ years sell his collection of classic motorcycles.  He is in his late 70's and is not proficient in computers or listing/selling something on Ebay.  I am not a professional motorcycle appraiser or restorer.  Information given is via my friend and a good inspection and test ride where possible.  This is a really neat old bike. Information given is to the best of my knowledge, but opinions vary.
