    Description

    George V sterling silver epergne. Made by Williams in Birmingham in 1910. Slender oval shaft on large and stepped same foot. Shaft terminates in basket set in solid oval mount. Mounted to shaft are four scrolled arms each terminating in basket set in oval ring mounted to 4 scrolled supports. Baskets oval with solid well and scrolled rim interspersed with scallop shells. Pierced and scrolled band with cartouches (vacant). A fluid and simplified Edwardian design. Fully marked.
