    Description

    This vintage Victorian Christmas card is artist signed by Robert Dudley. It shows a group of anthropomorphic birds (some still in their shells!) celebrating with dancing. Titled Evenings At Home. Published by Castell Brothers, number 527, circa the 1880s. A seldom seen and very scarce card.
    Condition:
    Good: with a slight crease at upper left, some album residue on the back, some surface dirt/scuffing, some yellowing of the paper with age, some minor edge distress, and corner bumps all around. See photos for details, and my About Me for more info on how we grade our cards.
